Google to Invest $15B in Finland’s AI Infrastructure

Google said it will invest about $15.1 billion in AI infrastructure in Finland over the next two years.

Google also disclosed a 22-year purchase agreement with Finnish energy operator Fortum, under which Google will receive up to 50% of the energy output of one of Finland's two nuclear plants.
The nation's abundant nuclear power resources are a key draw for tech giants seeking to fuel increasingly power-hungry data centers without compromising on sustainability requirements.
