Huawei Speeds Up Launch of New AI Chip

Huawei is accelerating the debut of its next-generation AI chip by several months, aiming to replace Nvidia in China and compete on the global stage. The Ascend 960DT chip will now be launched in the first quarter of 2027. Another variant of the new series, dubbed 960PR, will be delivered in the third quarter. Bloomberg's Anthony Stephens reports.
