Riverside Agents Are A New Team For AI Production Of Podcasts
Riverside, the AI-powered end-to-end content creation platform used by Spotify, NBC, and The New York Times, has launched a suite of AI agents tailored specifically for video production. Riverside Agents takes on much of the heavy lifting involved in producing a podcast, from prepping the session to publishing clips across platforms.
For many podcasters, video has become an essential format for growing an audience. However, the appetite for long-form content has outpaced the time creators have to produce it.
Solo creators and small podcasting teams often carry an entire studio’s workload—managing episode preparation, video editing, social media clipping, and distribution. Riverside Agents is being rolled out to give these creators a dedicated production team, helping them produce more professional, studio-quality content.
An AI Production Team
“Every creator deserves a production team. Riverside Agents gives them one: a Producer, an Editor, a Clipper, and a Marketer who know their show, get to work the moment recording ends, and bring back work creators are proud to put their name on. Their job is to direct,” says Nadav Keyson, CEO and co-founder of Riverside.
The launch of Riverside Agents reflects a shift in how creators interact with AI. Previously, AI tools required constant direction—prompting, checking results, and manually moving footage through each stage of the editing workflow.
Riverside Agents are designed to handle these tasks autonomously, making decisions along the way before passing the work to the next stage. Riverside says this gives creators more time to focus on creative direction and show development.
Four Agents, One Team
Each of the new agents specializes in a specific phase of production:
More Time To Create
Because processing occurs in the cloud, creators are not tied to their desks. After recording, they can close their laptop and review, edit, or approve content directly from their smartphone.
